Principal's Message

Welcome everyone to the Kettleby Public School community.  We are thrilled and excited about what we have to offer.  Our staff, supported by families and community partners, are committed to creating welcoming and caring learning environments in which students can thrive.

Kettleby is a school known for its wonderful students who demonstrate respect and concern for others on a daily basis.  We are a caring and inclusive school community that excels both in the classroom and through our many clubs, teams and intramurals that are offered.  Much of our success as a school can be attributed to the character and commitment of our community and through the dedication of the teaching and support staff who work at Kettleby Public School.  Regardless of your interests or needs there is a place for everyone at Kettleby Public School.

We are fortunate to have such a caring staff, and we are home to the Interface Day treatment program offered through York Academy.  We are committed to nurturing strong partnerships involving students, families and educators to ensure that we have a successful and rewarding school year, each and every year.

Please take the time to look at our website, you will find calendars of monthly events, our monthly newsletter, information items from our very supportive and active School Council and important key points of information that you may find useful.

When parents are involved in their children’s education, everyone benefits – students, parents, teachers, schools and communities.  Great schools can become even better places to teach and learn, and student achievement often improves.  Publicly funded education means more than public funding.  It means public participation:  the community’s commitment to the next generations.” From Ontario Ministry of Education
